Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

Develop a final examination concept for the Afghan Dual Track TVET secondary education system in cooperation with international and national experts and in close consultation with the private economy, the Deputy Ministry TVET and the involved pilot schools.
Organise focus group discussions with private companies and guilds to better understand the existing final tests for apprentices which are currently conducted.
Assemble and lead working groups for drafting final examinations.
Test final examination concepts in selected schools and profiles and draw conclusions for necessary adjustments.
Contribute to the work of the didactics until of AA2, including class observations, training organisation, semester exam development and teaching material development.

Job Requirements:

Formal Education:

A bachelor degree.

Professional Experience (field and minimum duration):

Two years of working experience as a teacher or in an education project or in a private sector company.
Previous experience in developing examinations or curricula would be considered an asset.
Previous experience in facilitating workshops would be considered an asset.

Other experiences and skills (e.g. language, IT-skills, social and personal skills, etc.):

Excellent command of standard software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and spoken command of Dari and English.
Fluency in Pashto would be considered an asset.

Ability to develop creative solutions for complex challenges.
